Technical assistance services were provided to the IBC on crime and violence to provide guidance to the UN System in LAC

The UNSDG LAC comprises 23 agencies, funds and programmes. Consultancy services consisted in (1) Mapping of ongoing UN initiatives in violence, crime and conflict prevention and response in the LAC region (including peacebuilding); (2) Mapping of knowledge outputs by member agencies on the issues of crime and violence, including peacebuilding, to feed into the SDG Gateway; (3) Mapping and analysis of key subregional/regional/global events for joint UN positioning on prevention and response to crime and violence in LAC; (4) Mapping of available training and capacity building opportunities on violence and crime within UN system agencies that participate in the IBC.
