Brief overview:
Between 2014 and 2019, migration flows from Venezuela increased considerably, with estimates indicating more than 4 million people (IOM-UNHCR, 2019). Considering this situation, IOM conducted an assessment to identify the needs of the Venezuelan population in Mexico. Increasing income-earning capacity was identified as a top priority.
Consulting services were provided to lead the design of a Manual for migrant entrepreneurs in Mexico, covering the identification of funding sources and business opportunities in Mexico and a step-by-step strategy to launch a business idea until it becomes successful.
